Product Description

A stay wire is usually wire strands of galvanized steel that finds use in sustaining mechanical load. Three to seven smooth and uniform wire strands are rolled to make stay wire. This wire is produced in in-house drawing and stranding lines. The drawing process includes steps, like surface treatment, drying, drawing, tension control and winding. The galvanized process covers washing, drying, hot galvanizing and spooling. In stranding process, the wire is stranded, inspected and packaged. Nirmal Wires (P) Ltd. can manufacture this type of wire to international standards, such as BS 183, DIN 48201, IS : 2141 etc. The wire can also be made according to the specifications provided by the customers. Galvanized Steel Stay Wire can be used as an overhead ground wires for electric power transmission, as messenger wires and span wires.
